European Festival of Performing Arts Timisoara - Romanian Drama Festival

The European Festival of Performing Arts Timisoara – Romanian Drama Festival (FEST-FDR) is a yearly theatre festival organised by the Timişoara National Theatre with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Timisoara City Hall.

A member of the European Festivals Association since 2012, FEST-FDR is the only platform dedicated to contemporary Romanian theatre in a European context, exploring diversity through the performing arts while showcasing the best of new Romanian drama.

The 2020 edition will be made up of two parts, as follows: between June 25^th and June 27^th, street theatre will take over the city of Timisoara for the outdoor part of the festival, while between October 31^st – November 8^th the four festival stages will welcome high quality Romanian and European theatre.
