Since 1980, the Early Music Festival in Miercurea Ciuc brings together more than 150 musicians from all over Europe each summer, from emerging artists to acknowledged professionals. They celebrate the colorful European Early Music for a week together with their audience in this charming little town from Transylvania, playing historical instruments in the court and bastions of the old castle, in churches, cafés and in the streets, and improving their performing skills during the Summer School.
