Bath Fringe
Multi-arts festival in venues, outdoors, and other unexpected places in and around the beautiful historic and cultural city of Bath. Founded 1982 (the current organisation dates from 1992), the festival is run by a cooperative of artists, event organisers, and audience members. Parallel visual arts & outdoor arts festivals (FAB Fringe Arts Bath and Bedlam Fair, respectively). Aside from outdoor arts and a few 'headline' events, artists are booked by venues - or by booking their own venue and putting themselves on - not by the Fringe office or committee. In recent years the Festival has generally run to 150-200 events, depending on how you count them, although 2020 and '21 were and are different...
This year we will be featuring some events during our usual dates, and also supporting others in the weeks following, when the current idea is that more usual audiences will be possible.
