IX Open Festival of Children Puppet Companies “Stairs”

The Open Festival of Children Puppet Companies was founded in 2009. The festival is held at the stage of the Academic Oblast Puppet Theatre in the city of Rivne. The festival is designed to promote the art of puppet theatre, discover and support gifted children, establish creative contacts, contribute to friendly relations and strengthening of interaction between children from various regions of Ukraine and foreign countries. Festival participants are children beyond 17, not divided by age categories. The festival program includes: gala presentation of companies, competitive performances, master classes (puppetry, drama language, production of articulated puppet), round table (experience exchange), review of the performance of Puppet Thetre of the City of Rivne, creative meeting with actors and solemn closure of the festival (rewarding of winners).
