PFA - Piccolo Festival Animazione
Piccolo Festival Animazione is the only “widespread and polycentric” festival of animated short film at an international level in Italy. Its original formulation provides to take place in different venues among Friuli Venezia Giulia Region by presenting up to 80 short films, many of which in their First National Premiere. Those short films are presented in cinemas equipped with advanced projection technology systems and in cultural centers or institutes, such as the “Tartini” Conservatory of Trieste and TriesteContemporanea Studio, dedicated to performative events. It is aimed at an all ages audience, animation enthusiasts and art-field operators; and also has a specific program for students of the Conservatory and the Academy of Fine Arts.
During the festival are organized masterclasses held by invited authors.
