Today It's All About Jazz

"Today it's all about Jazz" is a festival that this year was held for the seventh time in the organization of the Association of Jazz Musicians and Free Artists.

The festival takes place every year on April 30, International Jazz Day, and is celebrated under the same motto - "to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role in uniting people in all corners of the world."

The festival opens an opportunity for the promotion and affirmation of local jazz musicians, but we always try to include guests from the region and beyond. The festival includes a program for children every year, jazz workshops led by our top jazz musicians and educators, and a concert part where the artists perform.

Over the past seven years, a huge number of names have performed on the stage of the Today It's All About Jazz Festival, some of them mega-popular, and some of them made their first steps in jazz music here. The long list includes In Between, Bopheads, Flying Pekingese, Sethstat, Fierce, Goce Stvekovski Septet, Imaginary Folklore, Tony Kitanovski Trio, Jole Grujovski Quartet, Kabadayas, Oliver Josifovski Trio, Jezna, Mihail Josifov Quintet, ZJM Big Band Orchestra, Parussion group, Dzian Emin, Arben Xhaferi, Apnea, Dina Jashari, Pangea: Free The World, Bramha Amity, Gordan Spasovski Trio, Ivan Ivanov Trio, John Ilia Apelgren, SS Project, Offground Ensemble, Agni Avshar, Jordan Kostov, Sasho Popovski, Philip Dinev, Aquarela Quartet, Nikola Bochvarov Quartet, Filip Dinev Trio - Filip Dinev/Tilman Oberbeck/Jan Tzaimets, ZJM Big Band - Zappa Project, Jure Pukl Organ Trio - Jure Pukl/Marko Chrntecs/Chris Smith and Adedji "Joruva Odyssey."

All participants helped celebrate International Jazz Day, celebrating "the benefits of jazz music as an educational tool and a force that leads to peace, unity, dialogue and smooth cooperation among people."
