15 Mediteranean Folklore Dance Festival

The Cultural Heritage Association of Nicosia in cooperation with Larnaca Municipality is organising the 15th MEDITERRANEAN FOLKLORE DANCE FESTIVAL in Larnaca, Cyprus from 10 to 14 of September, 2020.
fourteen (14) groups from countries of the Mediterranean and fifteen (15) from Cyprus will be chosen to participate in the Festival. It is about the commingling of cultures with live music and musicians, synthesis of colours and original traditional costumes. It is an institution that fosters mutual interaction and cultural exchange, it is a matter educating culture. It is a tangible expression of culture in a globalising world, through which the promotion of cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue shall be the main objectives for heritage, dialogue between religions, education and youth. This festival is the product of the desire and love of the friends of the traditional dances. They give people the opportunity to meet and coexist through music and dance from other countries. The festival provides to the participants a lot of fun including parties, cruising, diving, 3 time buffet meals, presents and specialize seminars. Also we give the chance to the participants to sell their cultural traditional items throughout the festival.
