4th AGRINIO'S CHORAL FESTIVAL

The 4th Festival of Choirs of Agrinio is coming more dynamically this year, since the entries exceed all expectations. More than 40 choirs from Greece and abroad (European countries and Africa) have declared their participation.The festival is supporting on-going artistic development (some examples of this are: offering residencies to artists, contributing to new creations, and supporting artistic research)and providing opportunities for upcoming or innovative artists to create or to be presented in your programme.
The festival is rooted in its’ local community fostering local connections in the programme and among the performers/performances. The festival involves local artists as well as local audiences in its projects contributing to cultural decentralization.
Also helps to increase access to culture and attract diverse audiences. (some examples include different socio-economic backgrounds, age groups, genders, and cultures). The festival is helping to shape, encourage and promote intercultural experiences for your audiences and artists and is investing in innovation and capacity building.
One important thing is engaging with audiences, for example through educational programmes which take place.
 The festival offers guided tours throughout Western Greece and is sponsored by the Ministry of Touris .The festival is under the auspices of the Municipality of Agrinio City.
