48. OPEN OHR Festival

Since 1975, the Open Ohr Festival takes place each Pentecost at the historic citadel area in Mainz/Germany. Dedicated to a different socio-cultural theme each year, it offers discussion panels, music, theatre performances, screenings of movies and documentaries, workshops, readings, poetry slams and stand-up comedy. Funded by the city of Mainz, the Open Ohr Festival is shaped by a group of dedicated volunteers, working independent from financial incentives or political ties. This year's theme is tax.
