Coudenberg Sound Box Fest
Much more than a musical festival, the Coudenberg Sound Box Fest (CSBF) aims to reconnect its public with the Belgian archaeological, historical and artistic heritage, by bringing together the glorious remains of the Coudenberg Palace with the eclecticism and dynamism of its present. From ancient music of the 14th century to contemporary compositions, including baroque, jazz, folk and electronic music, the subtle and invisible links between these different styles will be unveiled by internationally renowned musicians, with a special focus on artists from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The concerts are intended to be itinerant to allow spectators to explore the rich acoustic variety of the different rooms that make up the underground route of the Coudenberg Palace and, at the same time, to visit all of these spaces steeped in history. With a multi-stylistic approach, the CSBF promises to bring together heritage enthusiasts, music lovers, and all the curious in search of a unique visual and sound experience, between past and modernity.
