Graphic Stories Cyprus is an established annual Conference on Graphic Design and Visual Communication, in Cyprus. It will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus from 15-17 of March 2019. Through the organisation lectures, artistic exhibitions, and workshops, it aims to demonstrate and promote the value of visual communication to the public and its connection with the happenings in the social field.It also aims at cultivating visual literacy and perceptual development of critical thinking concerning contemporary visual arts and their subjects of interest, both locally and internationally.

The 5thGraphic Stories Cyprus will host 10 lectures from international renowned designers and artists, that cover a wide range of Arts and Visual Communication, highlighting the present and exploring the future:David Carson,Beetroot Design Group, Irini Gonou, Charis Tsevis, Vladimir Radibratovic, Yiorgos Tsangaris, Konstantinos Kambouroglou, Costas Mantzalos, Sotos Voskarides – BOSS, Costis Papatheodorou.

Three specialised workshops that offer accumulated professional knowledge and experience, relative to the modern practices of design and two educational workshops for children are organised for the 5th Graphic Stories Cyprus conference, covering a wide range of modern arts, from calligraphy and illustration to cartoon character creation.

The 5th Conference on Graphic Design and Visual Communication will also host the international poster exhibition “Graphic Design, Challenging the Perception” and the Documentary film “How To Steal A Chair”, about the Design Museum of Thessaloniki in Greece.
