Jazz HR

JazzHR is a project of the Croatian Society of Composers, which has been continuously promoting jazz in Croatia since 1991. Every year, its organization includes a season of concerts and two festivals (spring and autumn editions), where it hosts and promotes primarily Croatian jazz composers and musicians, but often also guests from abroad.

Throughout its long history, the project was presented under different names (International Jazz Days, Spring Jazz Review, Jazz.hr/spring, Jazz.hr/fall), it was led by several artistic directors (Mladen Mazur, Antun Tomislav Šaban and Davor Hrvoj ), was located in different concert venues in Zagreb (MD Lisinski, "Blagoje Bersa" Hall, etc.) and hosted more than 2,000 musicians.

Since 2021, it has been under the guidance of artistic director Lana Janjanin, and has found a home in Zagreb's Culture Factory. JazzHR strives to gather and unify the jazz scene and strives to strengthen the feeling and action of the jazz collective.
