Kavč Festival will host over 125 artists and performers from 25 different countries in Ljubljana, Trieste, Maribor, Nova Gorica, Celje, Idrija, Cerknica, Loška dolina and other locations across Slovenia. Kavč Festival creates a melting pot of musical genres and performance art forms and offers visitors an opportunity to attend intimate events such as jazz, ethno, folk, choir, hip-hop, baroque, experimental, electronic and genre-blending concerts as well as dance, puppet, cabaret and street theatre performances in kitchens, living rooms, galleries, ateliers, museums, studios, offices, barns, cellars and mountain lodges.

Public Kavč Festival events will take place every evening for the duration of the festival in bigger venues in Ljubljana: Zorica, Celica, Menza pri koritu, Gromka, Kino Šiška, Gala Hala and Channel0.

8th edition marks the largest edition to date. With over 190 events thorughout the week, it is also the most substantial cultural event in Slovenia at the time.

“Kavč Festival is an incubator for new projects and a catalyst of cultural happening. It’s a time for artists and performers to connect amongst each other as well as with their audience in informal settings, by breaking the fourth wall and placing art and culture where it belongs: to our homes and with the people!” - Matija Solce, creative director
