Organizers, in very particular way, want to take care of the medium’s attractiveness and more conscious and active audience participation in festival’s events.

Due to innovative projects, organizers are trying to disrupt the traditional concert format or cultural event when the artist plays the role of performer and the audience is just observing.

Starting from the very first NeoArte Festival in 2012, each successive edition invites one famous composer who becomes The Composer-in-Residence. Among the artists who served this splendid function there were many renowned personalities: Paweł Szymański, Elżbieta Sikora, Cezary Duchnowski, Paweł Mykietyn, Joanna Bruzdowicz, Pierre Jodlowski and Wojtek Blecharz. Composers-in-Residence of this-year edition will be Gwyn Pritchard and Alwynne Pritchard.

From its second edition, NeoArte – Synthesizer of Arts Festival expands the educational part by:

  • giving young composers and performers the chance to develop their skills
  • giving children and youth the opportunity, through carefully selected activities, to get accustomed with one of the most creative fields of arts
  • familiarizing the audience with composers’ ideas and giving the chance to understand artists’ motives, hence, enriching audience participation in the cultural event.
