Short Waves Festival is an international short film festival from Poznań, Poland, which celebrates its 13th edition between 14th and 20th of June 2021.

Every year seven festival days include screenings of 250 short films from all around the world for a total audience of about 8000 film enthusiasts. The program consists of competition screenings divided into five categories: International Competition, Polish Competition, Dances with Camera and Urban View and Polish Experimental Film Competition as well as non-competition program, educational and industry activities, filmmakers talks and many others. Festival presents also a country in focus and multiple theme programs of emerging film talents from different regions. Also, Short Waves Festival sets new trends in event-cinema field, creating site-specific film installations in unexpected locations or organizing exciting special events such as Random Garden Cinema in secret gardens.
