The charity festival "Faine Misto: stories worth hearing"

The first festival was held in 2013 on the Chaika island in the park named after T.G. Shevchenko (Ternopil). In 2014-2016 it was held on the territory of Ternopil airport. In 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021 on the territory of the Ternopil Hippodrome.

In 2017, the festival received the EFFE (Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe) certificate. EFFE are certificates issued by the European Festivals Association (EFA) and recognize the best festival events in Europe. And in 2019, after an expert assessment of compliance with European quality standards, the EFFE international jury confirmed the certificate for 2019-2020.

The purpose of the festival is to create a platform for the development of the festival movement in Ukraine, popularization of national culture abroad, promotion of the development of young national artists, promotion of a proactive lifestyle and availability of mass cultural events.

Festival activities after February 24, 2022.

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the management of the festival changed the direction of work, becoming an official organization that deals with the logistical needs of the regiment, and later the Azov brigade.

The "Faine Misto" festival began collecting funds, searching and purchasing the necessary equipment and means to ensure the logistical needs of Azov.

In order to ensure a stable supply of donations for the needs of the brigade, the festival management decided to hold charitable cultural events. In total, it was possible to organize about 50 charity events (concerts, mini-festivals, raffles and auctions), which raised about UAH 5 million.

In order to attract the attention of the world community to the war in Ukraine, to attract European artists and media in September 2022. in partnership with Rockova Noc and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the charity festival Faine Misto\Rockova Noc was held. The charity festival was held in the city of Rzeszów, which, according to Presidential Decree No. 355/2022, received the honorary title of "City-Savior".

In July 2023, in partnership with the Azov brigade and the Lviv City Council, the charity festival "Faine Misto: stories worth hearing" was held. The feature of the festival was that it became a platform for communication between the military, civilians, artists and volunteers, where issues of war and life after victory were discussed. Thanks to the festival, it was possible to collect UAH 3,746,297.55. for the logistical needs of Azov.

In general, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the festival team managed to accumulate and transfer the necessary resources for Azov in the amount of more than UAH 85 million. As part of this cooperation, the Faine Misto festival was awarded with a special award to the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov" brigade for strengthening the unit's combat capability, unity on the way to the struggle for Ukraine's independence, and devotion to the Motherland and the nation.
