Tournai Ramdam Festival

The Tournai Ramdam Festival, the festival of disturbing films, was founded in Tournai (Belgium) in 2011. The 10^th edition of the festival will be from January 2020, 18 – 28.

Since its creation, the festival increased successfully and more and more festivalgoers attend the event each year.

In 2011 the festival welcomed 4000 festivalgoers and in 2019 around 30.000!

The theme, disturbing films, was a challenging and risky bet and far from being settled in advance.

The program includes questioning, challenging, moving, stirring, shocking, transgressing films.

In short, movies that give food for thought and generate debates for the benefit of the critical eye of the viewer.

Nowadays films as well as all times films reflecting the world here and around, in all languages, telling something about humanity that is urgent to hear, to see…and that we must not forget.
