Waves Festival is Denmark's most established and longest running existing festival of contemporary international visual performance and theatre arts and includes both an indoor and street performance programme.
Every uneven year in August, performing artists from all over the world occupy Vordingborg to share their work in the fields of explorative and visual theatre, performance and dance with Danish audiences, and participate in a parallel program – Waves Xtra – of conferences, network activities and artist talks.
