Zeist Music Days

Zeist Music Days is an international chamber music festival in Zeist, The Netherlands, that lasts for 15 days and that is held each year in the second half of August. Artistic director is Alexander Pavlovsky, first violinist of the Jerusalem Quartet.

Performing musicians in 2021 will include: Belcea Quartet, Jerusalem Quartet, Alma Quartet, Ruysdael Quartet, Goldmund Quartett, Nino Gvetadze (piano), Joachim Müller-Crépon (cello), Jörgen van Rijen (trombone), Nieuw Amsterdams Klarinet Kwartet, Henk Neven (bariton), Hans Eijsackers (piano), Avri Levitan (viola), Alexander Warenberg (cello), Nikola Meeuwsen (piano), Viride Quartet (quartet in residence).

The festival focuses on concerts, held in the 18th-century church of the Moravian Church in Zeist, a fringe program (with a 'musical walk in the surrounding woodland', films, a wine-concert, lectures, etc.) and an extensive talent development program.

The talent development program consists of masterclasses given by renowned musicians and the students perform in venues throughout The Netherlands. Masterclass teachers in 2021 are: Marc Danel (violin), Orfeo Mandozzi (cello), al four members of the Jerusalem Quartet.
