Bürgerbühnenfestival

The festival presents 12 outstanding productions of professional participatory theater - from all branches of theater and with performers of all ages. The selection of the productions that come from all over Europe, is made by a jury of representatives from 5 European theatres. The festival attempts to present an overview of the different subjects and aesthetics found in People's Theater, and to initiate a debate about the quality of professional theater work with non-professional performers.
