Clandestino Festival is an alternative music festival held in Gothenburg. It is committed to presenting an array of international artistes, delivering a richly unconventional experience for a diverse audience.
Founded in 2003, Clandestino's roots lie in a bid to raise awareness of the plight of Peter Ekwiri, an asylum seeker who was denied refuge in Sweden and wrongfully deported thereafter. It has since maintained an all-encompassing social consciousness and a profile of multicultural advocacy.
