Twice a year in the city of Dnepr (formerly Dnepropetrovsk) or in one of the cities of the Dnepropetrovsk region, the ethnocultural festival “Syaivo” is held in a picturesque place on the banks of the Dnieper. This popular all-Ukrainian holiday takes place over 3 days.The name of the festival is translated by the bright and life-affirming word “Shine,” and the idea contains hope and a call to awaken love for one’s land, connection with roots, and the creation of a joyful and tolerant community of people. Usually the festival program is very rich - master classes on handicrafts and presentations of cuisine from all continents, spiritual practices and healing, martial arts and dances of the peoples of the world.All days during the festival there is an amazing fair of folk art items , ethnic instruments, creative clothing, decorative elements, handmade jewelry, amulets, amulets and much more.Traditionally, as part of the festival, visitors and participants are invited to master classes and trainings, witness the fulfillment of sacraments, as well as spectators of enchanting performances of music and dance groups.The festival has a permanent dance floor.Healing and healing - folk healers of different schools and traditions tell and show how our ancestors healed and healed each other. Martial arts masters show and teach in master classes the traditions of such styles as spas, combat hopak, Slavic-Goritsky wrestling, wushu, lyubki, shizen, capoeira, archery and much more.Theater - theatrical art has always been an integral part of the culture of the past, therefore the voice from the stage is important in the present. At the festival you can watch and participate in theatrical performances, both ethnic traditional theaters and modern productions. Nativity scenes, classical performances, playback theater, shamanic mystery theater - all this can be seen at the festival.

Ethnic clothing - how and what different peoples wore is discussed at workshops on ethnic clothing. You can also see a fashion show of ethnic designers, find out what the ornament in embroidered shirts means, how to wear a sari correctly, the history of national costumes of the peoples of the world and our land.Usually the festival program is very rich...
