Organised by la Villette, in Paris, Hautes Tensions is a contemporary circus festival dedicated to emerging artists. Its program focuses on new writing styles, bringing to light today circus vibrancy. Artists from all Europe occupy la Villette for two weeks performing indoor, in-tent and outdoor. Many activities are organized to further the exchanges between artists, audience and professionals: workshops, work-in-progress presentations, pitch sessions and an open stage for practice and training.
