IPFF2020

27 Mar 2020 - 05 Apr 2020
Athens, Greece Athens, Greece

The In Progress Feedback Festival (IPFF), the festival that focuses on the creative process and the relationship between the creator and her/his audience instead of being a product oriented process, will take place on March 27th-29th 2020 and April 3rd-5th 2020 in Athens.

The main aim of the In Progress Feedback Festival is research, experimentation and the ways through which the in progress projects are affected. The uniqueness of the IPFF is located in its two very crucial functions: the development of the work and the feedback on it. Functions which demand awareness, risk and continuous development of the craft.

This year’s thematic umbrella for all Kinitiras’ actions is the idea of TRANSITION. This idea also unites five artists from Africa and Europe who will live and work together in Athens for a three-week residency program. They will experience the everyday life in the city and through the co-existence and interchange they will be inspired to create one or more community dance performances that will be presented in the In Progress Feedback Festival in April 2020 in Athens.

The residency programme is a project by the Goethe-Institut Athen, the French Institute of Greece and Kinitiras in collaboration with Flux Laboratory Athens, with the support of the Franco-German Cultural Fund.

In the IPFF2020 they will also present their projects the artists from Kinitiras that took place in the Lo studio-Guru residency in Switzerland.
