10 years of the Akropoditi DanceFest – 10 years of dancing summers in Syros!

Syros welcomes you to the 10^th International Dance and Performing Arts Festival Akropoditi DanceFest 2023!

We see this particular anniversary framed by a special get-together of our old and new collaborators as a perfect opportunity to reintroduce to you the island of Syros with all its happenings taking place in both familiar and undiscovered places!

This year’s anniversary program of Akropoditi DanceFest counting 51 guests from Greece and overseas includes a variety of workshops such as Contemporary dance, African dance, Improvisation, Theatre, Contact Improvisation, Butoh, Yoga, Movement for people with and without disabilities, Movement and Repertoire for older adults, Puppetry for children aged 8-12, performances, lectures and open talks with the participating artists, screenings, concerts, jams, parallel activities and festivities all over the island.
