14th Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival - Athens Edition

Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival takes place in a different Balkan city each year. It celebrates Balkan diversity and engages audiences and creators to reflect on their environment, cultural surroundings, and personal experiences, to re-imagine the concept of belonging and what living in the Balkan region might mean to them. The festival is a creative cultural space with a competition section, which is built around a different theme each year, a curated screening programme, cultural events, exhibitions, masterclasses and workshops, performances and networking events. Since 2021 the festival also travels back to its hometown for the Athens Edition, under a 'twinning cities' model.
