27th Petrer International Guitar Festival "Con Spirito"
Petrer Guitar Festival has a duration of 15 days. About 25 concerts are held around the guitar (symphony orchestras, guitar orchestras, soloists, duets, ensembles, etc. - different styles such as classical, flamenco, jazz, tango, early music, folklore, popular, ...). In addition, an international classical guitar competition is organised with 3 age categories: Young Promise (up to 16 years old), Youth (up to 22 years old) and Professional (no age limit), with cash prizes and international tours with more than 40 concerts for its winners in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Spain. During the festival there are master classes by great masters, monographs, conferences, exhibitions and an International Guitar Fair attended by luthiers from different places. Every year, about 100 young people from all over the world come to Petrer (Alicante, Spain) to enjoy all this guitar and music offer.
