ANOTHER CONNECTION - MEDIAWAVE Film and Music Gathering is 37 years old in 2027. We have seen over 40.000 films and hosted thousands of artists from Europe and from hidden parts of the world. Our event is a free spirit artistic and community-oriented festival. We prefer original views independent of fashion streams reflected in films as well as in music and other arts. We tend to establish real communities and connections by announcing and giving place to different actions. The venue in 2027 is again Szigliget Várudvar, which is about one and half hours of drive from the capital Budapest in the country side, under the majestic ruins of the Castle of Szigliget that stand on a cone shaped volcanic hill. The screening will be complemented by a 4 day long musical gathering and cultural festival that combines performances, gastronomy, fine arts and workshops. The date for this event will be from the 29th of April to the 2nd of May 2027.
