International Street Arts Festival 6Fest Plovdiv 2026

The new edition of 6Fest Plovdiv 2026 continues and expands the festival’s mission to make Plovdiv the leading center for international street arts in Bulgaria! This year’s program features 16 multidisciplinary events with artists from a record 11 countries across 3 continents, taking place over 7 days – April 20-26, 2026.

The lineup was selected from 80 applications sent by artists from 25 countries on 6 continents (Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Africa, Australia) - proof of 6Fest’s growing international recognition.

We’re happy to share that for the seventh year in a row, the festival will be part of the Cultural Events Calendar of the Municipality of Plovdiv.

6Fest is the first Bulgarian independent festival dedicated to performing street arts such as contemporary circus, puppet theater, living statues, fire arts, stilts, street magic, historical reenactments, dance, music, etc. The festival was established in 2017 and has 19 editions so far in 10 cities in Bulgaria. The main international festival edition takes place in the city of Plovdiv. The festival was part of the official program of Plovdiv – European Capital of Culture 2019 and the Cultural calendar of the Municipality of Plovdiv from 2020. The purpose of the 6Fest festival is to promote carnival and street arts in Bulgaria, to support professional street artists and improve their relationship with audiences. The festival has been realized over the years with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Bulgaria, the National Culture Fund of Bulgaria, the Plovdiv 2019 Foundation, the Municipality of Plovdiv, Sofia Municipality and others.
