7th Edition of Autumn Waves

For the 7th edition of its Autumn Waves Festival, the Belgian Electroacoustic Music Federation welcomes you to 4 exceptional evenings of sound creation with 5 concerts and many composers and a few improvisers including pieces from Thibault Madeline, Julien Guillamat, Roald Baudoux, Dirk Veulemans, Clément Parmentier, Antoine Habiyambere, Elizabeth Anderson, Vincent Simionovici, Daniel Perez Hajdu, Bruno Abt, Dimitri Coppe, Sopie Delafontaine, Stéphanie Laforce, Joris De Laet, Todor Todoroff, Wim Daeleman, Laryssa Kim, Jean-Pierre Jonckheere and Kristof Lauwers. An immersive and intimate experience, performed on a large orchestra of loudspeakers, the acousmonium, with an exciting aesthetic diversity: electroacoustic and acousmatic music, live electronics, free improvisation, mixed music as well as music for motion picture. In addition to spatialized interpretations by the composers themselves, a series of interpretations will be performed by several other musicians.Autumn Waves gives a major place to our members, composers from every region of Belgium, while opening a window on international creation with, through our partners in the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music, works from around the world.
