9th annual “Armenia” International Music Festival 2025

Experience the spirit of Armenian culture and the power of world-class music as the 9th annual “Armenia” International Music Festival launches the 20th anniversary concert season of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra on September 15, 2025. Spanning over three weeks in Yerevan, this signature festival offers a vibrant journey of musical discovery, culminating on October 6, 2025.Founded in 2017 through the vision and dedication of Sergey Smbatyan, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the festival has swiftly gained international recognition and become an awaited event among classical music enthusiasts.Organized in partnership with the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, the festival reaffirms Armenia’s position on the global cultural map.This year, the festival will feature four symphonic concerts at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. The lineup includes performances by pianists Olga Scheps and Epifanio Comis, violinist Darius Preus, conductor Ni Fan and flutist Tommaso Benciolini.The richly curated repertoire will span works by both Armenian and international composers, including: John Ter-Tatevosyan, Aram Khachaturian, Edvard Mirzoyan, Alexander Arutiunian, Alexander Spendiarian, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Robert Schumann, Modest Mussorgsky, Maurice Ravel, and more.More than a festival, “Armenia” is a celebration of connection—bringing together music lovers from Armenia and beyond.
