Athens Digital Arts Festival, the first and largest international platform for digital arts in Greece, celebrates 21 years of creativity and digital innovation in contemporary art. We are thrilled to announce that ADAF Simulacra will take place from 3 to 7 April 2025 at the iconic Technopolis City of Athens. Join us for a celebration of cutting-edge art and boundary-pushing artworks!

ADAF Simulacra explores the compelling intersection of reality and hyperreality in the digital age. As technology like AI and ChatGPT redefines our world, ADAF 2025 challenges the audience to reimagine how we engage with and interpret this dynamic, often surreal, reality. Through a multidisciplinary program, ADAF Simulacra questions the essence of originality, challenges perceptions of authenticity, and explores the symbiosis between technology and ecology in shaping a sustainable future.

At the 21st Athens Digital Arts Festival, impressive Video Art, Animation, Installations, Performances, Music, AR/VR/XR, Workshops, Talks, Web Art, Digital Image, Games, and an exciting program for Kids create a multidimensional experience for the audience around digital culture.

With over 3.000 artistic proposals from 102 countries and distinguished guests from the international art scene, the 21st Athens Digital Arts Festival promises a unique multimedia experience of digital art, embodying the spirit of innovation, creativity, and inclusivity that has defined the festival for two decades.

CO-VISION AND CHROMOSPHERE AT THE 21ST ATHENS DIGITAL ARTS FESTIVALAs part of its 21st edition, alongside its main exhibition and activities, Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF) will showcase two remarkable European projects:

CO-VISION: A thought-provoking exploration of the ecological footprint through digital art, emphasizing both local and global perspectives. This initiative will include a Local Debate and Workshop on January 28, 2025, culminating in the presentation of the interactive installation MEDUSA by Yiannis Kranidiotis during the main festival.

CHROMOSPHERE: A spectacular initiative featuring an iconic dome that has already mesmerized audiences across Europe. Greek audiences will have the chance to experience its captivating fusion of light, sound, and imagination for the first time. Chromosphere is an immersive project that offers a wide array of activities, including 360° screenings, live AV performances, and workshops for all ages, celebrating the dynamic world of digital art and audiovisual experimentation.
