ArtAvlija Jazz&Blues Fest

The „Art Backyard“ association has emerged from our need to socialize with friends within an intimate setting and against the background of different music genres promoted by various artists.

By initially organizing and participating in numerous international visual arts exhibitions titled „Diversity of Unity“, followed by many other art and music workshops, and now finally the international Jazz & Blues festival, the venue of which is our family house in Bavanište, near Belgrade, we have managed to demostrate that together, even though we each have different interests and educational backgrounds, we can accomplish something that may otherwise seem unimaginable.

We continue to exist and last owing to the generous support of our friends. Since the number of our visitors has risen over the years exceeding the indoor space capacities, we have decided to transform our intimate gatherings, which have always been accompanied by live music, into an international „Art Backyard Jazz & Blues Festival“ under the slogan „16 ares for good things“ which we organize once a year.

The festival itself is gaining in importance , both nationally and internationally. Our aim is to turn this festival into one of the best small festivals in Europe.

The basic concept of our Festival is ethno music in jazz

The working title of the 6th of the Festival is “Let's stay together”.
