The Audiovisual Arts Festival is a multidimensional event organized by the Department of Audio & Visual Arts and the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University. As an academic event it offers to all members of both departments the opportunity to present the results of the creative and research work in the fields of contemporary sonic and visual arts. As a cultural event it offers to all members of the local community and its visitors the chance to enjoy artistic and scientific activities related to new media arts and technology. As a scientific event it is an ideal meeting point for artists and researchers from Greece and abroad, thus, contributing to the international dialogue on the integration of new audio and visual technologies in art and its repercussions.
