Beyond DisDance

Beyond DisDance is the first performing arts festival in Cyprus that is dedicated to promoting local as well as international inclusive and accessible performance works. It was organised for the first time in 2022 from our NGO with the support of the deputy ministry of Cyprus and some productions were funded by the European funding Program Perform Europe. This year, 2025 the festival willl be organised for the fourth time with the support from the local deputy of Ministry of Culture. The Festival aims to contribute to the existing discourse in Cyprus that concerns the diversity in performing arts. In addition it aims to offer a safer space for people with disabilities to feel welcomed on stage as performers or/and as audience.
