Brussels Planetarium Poetry Fest is a festival, fully devoted to contemporary avant-garde, in conversation with the mainstraim.

The festival is held at a unique location, the largest Planetarium in Europe: Brussels Planetarium on Heizelvlakte.

All poets and performers were invited to create a unique piece for the Brussels Planetarium dome. Their texts and the recordings thereof were transated by the Planetarium technicians, into a domeprojection using existing – in some cases even specially acquired – images, 3D-projection models, photo’s and results of scientific research.

The festival will actively strike up dialogue between science, religion, immaterial heritage and the (de)colonization and white masculinity.
