Contemporanea Festival, organized by the Metastasio Theatre - Prato, researchs and on experiments the processes of theatrical production derived from the use of a variety of communicative and theatrical languages. The festival has always been a starting point for original forms of the performing arts linked to contemporary languages in dialogue with the other arts; dance, music, literature, visual arts, video and new technologies.
