contraDANÇA - Festival de Dança e Movimento Contemporâneo

contraDANÇA reaches its 14th edition in 2023. It is a festival that combines dance, performance, theatre, new circus and music.

The festival aims to promote and develop various forms of contemporary artistic expression in our region. It is a space that brings together established and emerging creators, where new artists find visibility and an opportunity for dissemination of their work. Since the festival's first edition (2006), we have continued to pave the way for contemporary creation in the countryside.

This year the shows will take place in Fundão, Seia, Fornos de Algodres, Gouveia, and Covilhã, contributing to the democratization of arts.
