The mission of our festival is to popularize the cultural, folk-musical and gastronomic heritage and to combine artistic cavalcade, closeness to nature and active tourism. In the border area of ​​Kassa County, there are more socially and economically backward municipalities whose cultural, folk-musical and gastronomic heritage is rich and diverse, but their values ​​are not widely known. The mission of our project is their popularization in the framework of cross-border cultural cooperation. In the affected areas, the ageing of villages and the migration of young people is a big problem. It is important to mitigate these negative demographic trends, which can also include strengthening the identity and commitment of those living here. The second important aspect is the provision of the environment, which includes suitable leisure, artistic and cultural offers. At that time, quality cultural opportunities for the residents and tourists of Hegyköz and Bodrogköz are extremely limited. There is no such festival or event that would provide them with multifaceted cultural knowledge. In addition, we set ourselves the goal of ensuring dialogue and the possibility of joint creation for artists and gastronomic experts living near the three borders. We place great emphasis on supporting young talents. The activities of the project ensure that there is a transfer of knowledge between residents on all sides of the borders of different age and social categories. The area has a high tourist potential and the tourist values ​​hidden in this region have not yet been exploited. The event will be realized in cooperation with the school SOU Pribeník and with local acoustic music groups, craftsmen and dancers.
