DDD - Festival Dias da Dança
The DDD - Festival Dias da Dança emerges from the desire for connection that can be established, through dance, between the cities of Porto, Matosinhos and Gaia.
Held annually around International Dance Day, the DDD develops, since 2016, a programme that demonstrates the aesthetic and thematic diversity of Contemporary Dance and promotes the wandering between several performance venues and the public spaces in the three cities of the Atlantic Front.
The largest international festival of contemporary dance in Portugal is organised by the Department of Performing Arts of Ágora – Cultura e Desporto E.M, / Câmara Municipal do Porto, in co-organisation with the cities of Matosinhos and Gaia. DDD is sponsored by BPI and Fundação “la Caixa” and is held under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic of Portugal.
