ECOPHILIA NOW International Festival 2026
ECOPHILIA NOW festival aims to raise awareness of environmental issues, spatial and cultural politics, supporting gender equality, women’s empowerment and inclusive practices across borders through a variety of art expressions: performance, audio-visual media, music, visual art, talks, educational workshops.ECOPHILIA NOW festival invites us to rethink and experience our connection to the natural environment and to consider what it means to rebuild our friendship (philia) with nature (home/eco). The term ‘ecophilia’ can be considered as the love for the place where all beings live, that is, the Earth and nature.ECOPHILIA NOW festival looks for feminist practices and perspectives and how these open new ways of thinking about the natural environment, urban space, equality, diversity, and social and environmental change.
