The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the world’s greatest platform for freedom of expression and largest arts festival. Since 1947 it has taken place every August for three weeks in Edinburgh, Scotland. An open access festival, where anyone with a story to tell and a venue to perform in is welcomed, every year the Fringe sees thousands of performers at all stages of their careers take to hundreds of stages across the city to present shows for every taste and across every genre.
