Egerszeg Festival is a festival of global arts connecting the four components of theatre, music, dance and festival; here the latest music trends, classical music, fine arts, children’s programmes, dance (both contemporary and folk dance), street art and gastronomy are also featured.
It has a deliberate connection to Zala county, to the Göcsej traditions and it also intends to feature the latest trends of both the performers and the image components.
Here tradition and innovation are partnering with each other. The festival transforms the city centre into a real communal space, it enhances the sense of community and strengthens identity.
