Enjoy Jazz 28th Festival for Jazz and More

This year's motto of the Enjoy Jazz Festival 2026 is Beauty. Beauty is perhaps the only permanently present revolution. It encompasses, shapes, or influences every facet of our lives: social, moral, political, economic, ecological, and aesthetic. It can be concrete or abstract, capable of commanding a majority or indivisible. As a symbol of an enlightened globalization that knows neither objectification nor fixed definition, beauty is nevertheless always only "a promise of happiness" (Stendhal), whose fulfillment we are all, knowingly or unknowingly, constantly working toward. Its essence is change. We are interested in the various personal definitions, ideas, theorems, impressions, sensations, experiences, or events that can be linked to the concept of beauty. We want to give a platform to the personal understanding of, or relationship to, beauty from the perspective of artists, other cultural practitioners, scholars, and audiences. The 28th Enjoy Jazz Festival 2026, with numerous special events among other things, is dedicated to this pursuit of insight. Because who knows — perhaps Dostoevsky is right when he writes: "Beauty will save the world."
