EUROPEAN MUSIC FESTIVAL, 25-th edition
Established in 2001, the European Music Festival, organised annually by Cantus Firmus music agency, has succeeded in carving out a prestigious role in Bulgarian cultural life. The festival has a multifaceted program profile, which every year gives audiences a dozens of live events on several stages in Bulgarian capital city. Thanks to the high performance quality in its programs, the festival has contributed significantly to the musical diversity of the city of Sofia. The dynamic development of the European Music Festival and the ambition of its organisers have been a solid basis for earning it a well-deserved position among other European festivals. The program of the 25th edition includes guest performances by several elite foreign and Bulgarian ensembles and soloists, such as the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, and soloists such as Vadim Gluzman (Violin), Sergey Krylov (Violin), Krassimira Stoyanova (Soprano), Ludmil Angelov (Piano), etc.
