Fagagna Dance Festival 2026

The Fagagna Dance Festival held its first edition in 2024 and is organized by House of IVONA. It was created to spread contemporary dance in the Friuli region, encouraging dialogue with the community and bringing visibility to places outside the usual ‘’tourist routes’’ as well as fostering greater accessibility to contemporary art for people living in peripheral areas.The festival’s venues are not only a way to enhance the territory and its most meaningful sites, but also become unique and unconventional stage settings. Performances and activities take place at the Museo Cjase Cocèl, the Casaforte La Brunelde, the Castle of Fagagna, and the Natural Stork Oasis.The program embraces the diversity of contemporary dance, spanning a wide range of styles and practices, with the aim of building bridges between local, national, and international artists — forging a connection between Fagagna and Italy, between Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the rest of the world. Since its second edition in 2025, the Festival is co-organized with the Ente Regionale Teatrale del Friuli Venezia Giulia (ERT).
