FESTICAM - Amposta International Theater and Circus Festival

The Amposta International Theater and Circus Festival is a cultural and artistic proposal that was born in 2013 from the EtcA organized jointly with the City Council of Amposta, which It is developed in the capital of the Montsià, in the heart of the "Delta de l'Ebre", with the aim of promoting the city as a reference space for circus, physical theater and performing arts in Terres de l'Ebre, It's in a showcase and exhibition of different live art projects and projects from around the world.

The commitment to this project is a commitment to promote the culture and the arts live in the territory of Terres de l'Ebre, being a nexus of approach and echo towards the south, in which they will share protagonism, on the one hand, spectacles of companies in which there is a clear vocation to approach languages and make innovative contributions in these fields, placing emphasis on street arts and, on the other, creations that are born from schools of performing arts, all over Catalonia. For this reason, the International Festival of Theater and Circus - festicAM- is a show and also a space for relationship and dialogue, research, exchange and rapprochement.

FesticAM is a member of the Catalunya Street Arts de Platform - PAC that groups, under one roof, the festivals, fairs and shows that have the street arts as the main driving force in its programming.

FesticAM is an accomplice of the Transits of the Creation of the Central del Circ project and co-produces shows with Lo Pati-Art Center of Terres de l'Ebre with the complicity of the APCC (Associació de Professionals de Circ de Catalunya) and the AADPC (Association of Professional Actors and Directors of Catalonia).

FesticAM is an initiative of the Amposta Theater and Circus School, co-organized by the City Council of Amposta with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of Terres de l'Ebre and the Diputació de Tarragona.
