Festival CavrosArts 2025

04 Jul 2025 - 06 Jul 2025
Magny-les-Hameaux, France

The 2025 edition of the festival will celebrate the National Museum of Port-Royal des Champs, a treasure nestled in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley. This exceptional site, both majestic and secret, has continuously inspired awe, surprise, and admiration. Over the course of three days, from 4 to 6 July 2025, artists will transport the public to the heart of Port-Royal’s history and heritage, bringing to life the remarkable figures who either resided there or maintained direct or subtle connections with this sanctuary of memory: Racine, Blaise Pascal, and, above all, the nuns who courageously challenged the absolutism of Louis XIV. The entire site will be brought to life, both its indoor and outdoor spaces. In the lead-up to the festival, as a preview, the artists will offer a series of educational and cultural mediation activities.

The CavrosArts Festival has been sponsored by the renowned harpsichordist Pierre Hantaï since its creation.
