Festival Cluny Danse

A spring festival in public space and outdoors in the historical city-abbey of Cluny. Organised by the association Le Grand Jeté! The festival aims to the development and the promotion of choreographic culture in all its diversity.

Since 2011, Festival Cluny Danse offers a diverse professional programme gathering renowned artists from France and abroad while maintaining a special attention to younger and emerging artists from the region as well as through international partners.

It is also a project transforming the city of Cluny through its 13 editions into a lively hub of exchange, among creators from different areas of the dance world. It also promotes the encounter between artists and the audience in different forms.

Committed to the development of choreographic culture, the festival also offers different activities to the audience on Cluny, varying between masterclasses, dance intensive workshops and flashmobs, with professional artists.
