The Festival of Five Churches – Öt Templom Fesztivál – is built on the fact that in the city of Győr there are five places of worship from each major European religion on one street, something that is unique in the whole of Europe. For centuries five faith communities have been living together in this street knowing, respecting and helping each other. The 5-day the Festival of Five Churches works to strengthen and support the historic and human value of the dialogue between cultures and religions.
